Does the tribe currently have a position on her enrollment?
I agree that the father’s rights were violated, but in turn the Tribe should guarantee Veronica whatever qualifies as full status. I don’t think the law’s intent is to take a child away from the only family she knows because she is part Native American, only to say (further down the line) that she isn’t Native American enough.
